Field Employee Review Process- Non- Apprentice

Field employees, other than those classified as apprentices, will be given a review once per calendar year. The review will be completed by the Vice President of Operations with input from field supervision and the Director of Field Operations. Reviews scheduling will done with the following process:

  1. Reviews will be scheduled once per quarter by the Human Resources Department
  1. All field personnel which have an anniversary date of employment in a quarter will be scheduled for review in that quarter.
  1. Human resources will send the employees scheduled for a review in the quarter an email notice asking them to complete the on-line Employee Self Review form and submit it.
  1. The employee shall complete the form on line from any smart phone, tablet or computer with internet accessand click the Submit button at the end of the form.
  2. Human Resources will forward the Self Review Form to the Vice President of Operations along with the Employees Training Records and summary of personnel records.
  3. Human Resources will schedule a review appointment with the Vice President of Operations.

NOTE: Employees must return the Employees Self Review Form to be scheduled for a review appointment. No reviews or increases will be processed without the Employees Self Review Form.

Prorated hourly wages or retroactive payroll adjustments will not be paid regardless of when a review is given.

Employees are encouraged to verify they have completed all their required training before their anniversary date each year as this will be considered as part of their review process. Verification of completed training may be done by contacting the Education and Loss Prevention Coordinator.

Note: Employees who have completed their electrical apprenticeship, and are working in the field in a capacity requiring a license*, and have not obtained their Colorado Journeyman Wireman’s License will be given an annual review according to the above process, however; they may not receive a increase until they have met the expectation of obtaining a Colorado Journeyman Wireman’s License.

* Positions Requiring a Colorado Journeyman Wireman’s License

  • Electrical Apprentice after completion of Apprenticeship program with E Light Electric Services, Inc.
  • Electrical Apprentice with over four years of experience in the electrical field
  • Journeyman electrician level field worker licensed in another State other than Colorado
  • Foreman
  • Supervisor
  • Superintendent
  • Service technician

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

ALL EMPLOYEES:

All Employees shall complete the following safety training:

  • New Hire Orientation at Hire
  • Site Orientation upon assignment to a site.
  • Asbestos Awareness Training- Annually
  • Lead Based Products Awareness Training- Annually
  • Valley Fever Awareness Training- Annually
  • Safety, Health and Environmental Updates Training- Annually
  • Topical Safety Briefings Weekly
  • Job Hazard Analysis Briefings- Daily
  • Specific Task Training- As Needed
  • Supplemental Safety Training- As Needed

MANAGEMENT and SUPERVISION

All management and supervision employees shall complete the following additional training programs:
