FIDUCIARY360 INTRODUCES ENHANCED WEB-BASED TRAINING

PROGRAM FOR ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY DESIGNATION

Enhanced Curriculum Provides More Comprehensive Training and Testing for Investment

Professionals Seeking More Clarity around the Concept of “Fiduciary Responsibility”

PITTSBURGH – September 2, 2008 – Fiduciary360 (fi360) announces its newly upgraded Web- based fiduciary training program that leads to the highly sought-after Accredited Investment Fiduciary®(AIF®) designation. This release features expanded content, a much greater opportunity for interactivity thanks to a new educational platform and more rigorous testing. A special pre-release sale price will be available for the month of September. The course will be formally launched October 1.

The Web-based AIF Training Program curriculum is based on the Prudent Practices for Investment Fiduciaries, which defines an investment process that fulfills all of the duties required of those who manage money for others. Also covered in the program are best practices for investment fiduciaries and assessments of adherence to fiduciary standards.

Program revisions include an expanded focus on pertinent legislation such as the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Management of Public Employee Retirement Systems (MPERS), the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA), the Uniform Prudent Investor Act (UPIA) and the Pension Protection Act of 2006; fi360-recommended due diligence screens for selection and monitoring of investment options; an update on the many developments and rulings impacting fiduciaries such as the CFP Board of Standards’ new Standards of Professional Conduct, the LaRue v. DeWolff case, Ellis v. Rycenga Homes, and the overturning of the broker-dealer exemption; and the latest theories in asset allocation.

The upgraded program, provided on the dynamic Absorb learning management system, will also feature new interactive components, such as video demonstrations and exercises that provide instruction on practically applying sound investment-making processes and how to use fi360 Tools, which is proprietary analytical and reporting software for investment professionals. A more comprehensive final exam question bank and the introduction of test proctoring adds a new level of rigor to the program, further enhancing the AIF program as “must-have” training for professionals serving in a fiduciary capacity. Those who successfully complete the training and exam are eligible for the AIF professional designation, signifying their fiduciary preparedness.

“The instructional design improvements to this program raise the bar for fiduciary training,” said Blaine Aikin, president/CEO of fi360. “It gives fiduciaries the best and most comprehensive understanding of their role and the responsibility that comes with the fiduciary title, in an increasingly complex environment where the guidelines are not always so clear.”

The cost for the Web-only AIF Training program is $1,450. For the month of September, a special pre-sale price of $995 is available. Enrollment covers all registration materials, including a set of Prudent Practices for Investment Fiduciaries handbooks, which will be sent upon purchase of the program, and temporary access to fi360 Tools. Those who sign up during the pre-sale will be able to access the program on the October 1 release date. Fi360 also offers a Capstone, or hybrid Web/classroom training option as well.
