Underwriting Guidelines:
Ø Up to $1,000,000. Can submit up to $3,000,000, allow additional time.
Ø Owner occupied single family buildings only.
Ø Homes over 60 years old require updated plumbing, heating & electrical, submit an Older Home Questionnaire signed by the insured. Proof of updates not required unless adding a discount for a recently renovated home.
Ø No galvanized plumbing.
Ø Not within 400’ of brush or forest – strictly underwritten and all homes are inspected. Brush is defined as natural vegetation over 3” in length (must be mowed or watered and landscaped).
Ø No prohibited breeds of dog or dog with bite history.
Ø Pools must be fenced, in ground, and maintained. No diving board or slide.
Ø No more than one claim in 3 years. No water or liability claims.
Ø Not vacant.

Ø 150% Extended Replacement Cost
Ø Contents Replacement Cost – can bump up contents to 75% if desired.
Ø Accredited Builder Discount - Homes < 5 yrs old in a subdivision, check discount box in Optional Coverages/Package Endorsements.
Ø Newly Purchased Home Discount – Homes of any age purchased this calendar year, check discount box in Optional Coverage/Credits & Adjustments.
Ø Updated Utilities – Indicate updates in Risk tab only if the insured has proof of updates to add a discount for Utility Rating Plan. Send in support to add discount.
Ø Optional Endorsements: (2/1/08 these should rate in FSC if selected, until then list in remarks section of Accord App if desired)
Animal Liability: $100,000 = $13, $300,000 = $27
Water Back Up: $5000 coverage = $20
Personal Injury: $100,000 = $10, $300,000 = $13, $500,000 = $16
Identity Theft: $25,000 = $30
2) Obtain Signatures:
Ø Accord Application
Ø EFT Authorization – if this payment plan is selected
Ø Older Home Questionnaire – if home is > 60 years old
Ø Woodstove Questionnaire – if free standing wood/pellet stove, needs photos
3) Obtain Support for Discounts: Send in support and discount will be added
Ø Monitored Alarm: Alarm certificate
Ø Sprinklers: Documentation or photos showing sprinklers installed inside of home
4) Fax Application and FSC Quote to Networked Insurance Agents
