Mission

To manage the purchasing organization efficiency of all purchased products and services with a continuous improvement of quality and service level.Optimize the total cost of ownership for all purchased items or services. Improve the organization and solve potential disputes being the voice of supplier in front of internal departments likeSupply chain, Quality, Finance and Industrial departments as well as being the voice of WIRQUIN in front of the supplier.

Main duties and responsabilities

1-Purchasing commodity management

- Ensure that our technical requirement is clearly written and specified.

- Find right suppliers able to reach our requirements.

- Carry out bids and analyse the quotation according to the total cost of ownership method (price, quality and service).

- Lead the audit process for new suppliers introduction with quality and SCM departements.

- Manage database settings for the supplier creation (Payment terms, Key contracts).

2- Supplier contracts

- Negotiate and finalize supply agreements with suppliers through contracts

- Ensure the implementation of Purchasing policy with suppliers

- Solve the disputes of product quality & quantity, lead time between the internal departments and Suppliers and claim for the compensations according to the contract.

3-Saving initiatives projects

- Launch saving projects and ensure the follow-up of those actions to achieve the agreed targets

4-Supplier performance monitoring

- Monitor supplier performance

5- Advanced Purchasing

- Keep active market research for potential suppliers, markets and saving ideas.

6- Administrative aspects

- Ensure that all meeting minutes are done and archived

- Ensure that all new suppliers will have a contractual relationship with Wirquin

- Ensure that existing procedure are applied and create those which are missing

- Maintain ERP database (Item, Supplier, etc..)

Transverse Manager

To be the connection between the different departments in order to optimize the quality /cost/lead-times.

Have and lead a team under your responsibility in accordance with the manager’s charter and with the progress values set out in the group project

Define the targets, organize the teams activity, check the results

Be a leader of improvement, propose solution with his team

Communicate : keep the employees informed and be there to listen, inform management of actions and results

Training

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Initial and Complementary Training: Higher education (4years) in Purchasing, Engineering or Industrial Management

Professional Experience: minimum of 5 years in purchasingor sourcing as head of Purchasing in industry or distribution

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Technical Competences:Very good knowledge of Purchasing process and methodology.

Good knowledge in negotiation field

Knowledge of ERP systems like NAV or SAP.

Project Management

Knowledge and understanding of important functions in a company.

Good communication and team works skills.
