How do I provide assessment evidence
Your evidence should be presented in any suitable form, such as written reports, presentations, or verbal explanations, together with the documents that you create for each of the tasks. These can be supported by other documentation, such as printouts, screen shots, witness statements, observation records and transcripts of conversations. If you make a presentation, include speaker’s notes, and print off both slides and notes.
All your evidence should be presented in one folder, which should have a front cover and a contents page. You should divide the evidence into four sections corresponding in the four tasks.
Task 1 - Review Different Animations
Assessment Objective 1
Before you plan and create your animation, you need to review two existing animations so that you find out what makes a web banner effective and to get some design ideas for the web banner you will produce. You will also need to identify not so good features so that you can avoid these when creating your own banner.
A Identify at least two different types of animations that you will review, for example
.gif
.fla
.swf
Use the internet to search for websites with animations.
BUse the Ao1 worksheet to review your animations. You may review more than two animations if you wish.
For each of the animations you need to –
-List the good and not so good features of each animation.
-Explain at least one feature from their reviews to use or avoid in their own animation
To achieve a Merit or a Distinction you need to
-Identify the purpose of each animation
-Give a thorough explanation of the good and not so good features of each animation and suggest a range of valid improvements to help each animation meet its purposes.
-Identify features from the reviews to use or avoid in your own animation.
-Explain why you will use/avoid these features in your own animation
Task 2 - Design An Animation

BUsing the Ao2 storyboard template draw a storyboard for your proposed animation.
Your storyboard needs to be well structured.
To achieve a Merit or a Distinction you need to –

-A storyboard covering all elements will be provided. This will include the key points and the timings of the components for an animation of at least 15 seconds.
-The design will cover all content, be logical and be well structured, this could be followed by a third party.
Task 3 - Create An Animation

E Make use of the Ao3 worksheet to help you get this evidence.
To achieve a Merit or a Distinction you need to –
-Be at least 15 seconds in length.
-Make effective use of: graphic techniques, importing and optimising objects, sound, frame rates, timings, tweening or frame-by-frame animation, looping of at least one individual element.

Task 4 - Test the Animation
Assessment Objective 4
In this task you will need to test the animation you have created. Before you do, you will need to create a test plan, this is also referred to as the testing table. You need to decide which, and how many tests you will carry out and record the results in the test table
