Festival VendorInformation

CaryCitizen would like to invite you to be a vendor at our first annual Fest in the West on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from Noon- 6:00pm. The festival will take place on the grounds of Parkside Town Commons Shopping Center in their open space and parking lot at the intersection of NC 55 and O'Kelly Chapel Road in Cary. We are expecting attendance of approximately 2000, but there could be many more. The area will have excellent visibility from NC 55 and is home to over 50,000 residents adjacent to the shopping center.

Fest in the West will celebrate Cary's Rural Roots with live music and demonstrations as well as locally made crafts,. There will be a Kids Zone to attract families and to keep kids busy while parents shop. We have a limited capacity this first year with room for only 40 craft vendors. Reserve your spot now!

Festival Information:

  • Locally made crafts only- no imported products allowed. The festival will focus on local and our rural past. We wish to have as many of the craft vendors represent the Triangle region as possible.
  • Vendor merchandise must be original work by the craft vendor, not a rep.
  • Vendors limited to 40 total. Sign up on a first come, first served basis.
  • We do not provide equipment, tents, tables or chairs, or display materials. Vendors need to secure their own exhibit space materials.
  • Tents should be secured. You may stake into the ground, as the tent area is not on pavement.
  • All booth spaces are 10' x 10' and will be pre-assigned to vendors.
  • Booth space is $100 per single booth. Maximum 2 adjoining booth spaces per exhibitor.
  • Electricity fee is an additional $30 with 20 amp maximum per vendor. Limit six (6) vendors.
  • Set-up will take place between 10:00am and 11:30.
  • All vendors must be open for business from Noon- 6:00pm. No early departures.
  • All vehicles will be barred from the festival area from 11am- 6:00pm to allow for pedestrian safety.
  • All exhibitors must be out of the festival area within 2 hours of the show ending time.
  • The festival will be held rain or shine. The festival committee reserves the right to close early due to extreme weather conditions.
