Eaves’ mission is to expose and address violence against women and girls in the UK.

The London Exiting Advocacy Project (LEA) is a service for women involved in prostitution who wish to leave and build a new life. The project recognises exiting prostitution is neither straight forward nor swift and uses a flexible five stage model which seeks to remove the main barriers women face to exiting.

As part of launching the innovative new service we currently have the following opportunities available:

Outreach Night Time Van Drivers x 2 (Pan London based from Lambeth)

SP27 £26,259 pa pro rata for 8 hour week

Outreach Night Time Support Worker (Pan London based from Lambeth)

SP29 £27,945 pa pro rata for 8 hour week

LEA project operates an outreach van supporting women engaged in on-street prostitution in known ‘working’ areas. The aim of the van and this service is to encourage women to come into the service to address any of their potential needs and issues.

LEA will support Hounslow women for a period of time that depends on their individual needs, which may be many months. The LEA advocate will work closely alongside a woman so that she can develop a tailored plan so that she can take steps towards exiting prostitution at her own pace. By providing a high-quality service LEA aims to equip women with the skills, knowledge and confidence to exit prostitution successfully and sustainably.

In addition to this intensive support, LEA will provide short term support to groups of women who aren’t yet ready to fully engage with the service. Workshops and training will be delivered by LEA within local services – giving space for women to disclose that they want support to exit. Drop in sessions will be provided at local services (a variety of different services but also at the Civic Centre).
