Feel The Love (FTL) Program Overview
Nikwax Mission Statement: To remain the international market leader for waterproofing and maintenance products for all-weather clothing, footwear and equipment, by upholding our commitment to technical innovation, product quality, customer service and care for the environment.
What is the Nikwax FTL Program?This program is a coordinated effort between Nikwax North America and Nikwax dealers to get floor-level store employees testing/using Nikwax to gain knowledge of how it works and when to use which product. It’s proven that add-on sales of Nikwax products greatly increase when retail staff members are educated about how Nikwax products work and when to use each one. While Nikwax has been in the North American marketplace for nearly 10 years, very few dealers are truly maximizing their Nikwax sales simply because they haven’t been adequately informed.
What do the Nikwax Mission Statement and FTL Program have in common? We believe the FTL Program is a means to an end. To accomplish our mission, we need to reach out to those on the front lines – retail floor-level employees.
How does it work? We provide a packet to the store manager which contains FTL order forms/surveys. Each month employees who wish to participate will fill out a brief survey, select a Nikwax product they want to try for free, return it to their manager who will then submit them as a batch by the 10thof that month. Nikwax will ship the order to the store for the store manager or a designated employee to distribute to those who participated. A packet of paperwork will arrive separately. This packet contains copies of each participant’s order form with feedback or answers to their questions printed on the back. These copies also serve as a guide for the administrator to hand out products to the employees that ordered them. There is a limit of one order per month per employee. There is no fee for participating, and no charge for the product or shipping. This is absolutely free!
Why should you participate? Why not? Your employees get a perk (free product) and you get them interested in and educated about Nikwax products which in turn helps them sell more for you. Plus, it doesn’t cost you a thing!
