June 2016

  • Office of Education Innovation (OEI) submits public records request to IDOE for each school’s May enrollment estimate and Form 54

July 2016

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (July 1st)
  • IDOE pays schools based on enrollment estimate submitted in May (July 15th)
  • Schools payOEI for 1% of basic support as indicated on Form 54 (July 31st)

August 2016

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (August 1st)
  • IDOE pays schools based on enrollment estimate submitted in May (August 15th)
  • Schools payOEI for 1% of basic support as indicated on Form 54 (August 31st)

September 2016

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (September 1st)
  • IDOE conducts September Count Day
  • IDOE pays schools based on enrollment estimate submitted in May (September 15th)
  • Schools pay OEI for 1% of basic support as indicated on Form 54 (September 30th)

October 2016

  • OEI submits public records request to IDOE for each school’s September Count Day results and updated Form 54
  • OEI sends invoices to schools (October 1st)
  • IDOE pays schools based on enrollment estimate submitted in May (October 15th)
  • Schools payOEI for 1% of basic tuition support as indicated on Form 54 (October 31st)

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (November 1st)
  • IDOE recoups overpayments or compensates for underpayment (November 15th)
  • Schools payOEI for 1% of basic tuition support as indicated on Form 54 (November 30th)

December 2016

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (December 1st)
  • IDOE recoups overpayments or compensates for underpayment (December 15th)
  • Schools payOEI for 1% of basic tuition support as indicated on Form 54 (December 30th)

January 2017

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (January 1st)
  • IDOE pays schools based on September ADM (January 15th)
  • Schools pay OEI for 1% of basic tuition support as indicated on Form 54 (January 31st)

February 2017

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (February 1st)
  • IDOE conducts February Count Day
  • IDOE pays schools based on September ADM (February 15th)
  • Schools pay OEI for 1% of basic support as indicated on Form 54 (February 28th)

  • OEI sends invoices to schools (March 1st)
