Federal Work Study

Summary:

Gonzaga Outdoors is looking for a Work Study to conduct rentals, answer questions on the phone and in person and perform other office functions. The position will also play a critical role in the planning and organization of GOOB, Gonzaga Outdoor’s pre-orientation experience.

Hours

This position is a Federal Work Study Position that will require between 15 and 20 hours of work each week.

·  Organization

·  Ability to ask questions and find answers within the university

·  Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 40 lbs

·  Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Excel

·  Excellent verbal and written communication and phone etiquette

Description

·  Answer questions about trips and help with registration

·  Rent, Return, and Organize Gear

·  Help with advertisement and communications

·  Keep office generally organized

·  Help with summer program logistics

·  Assist in planning, organizing, and executing GOOB Events

·  Complete other tasks as assigned
