Feature Synopsis
Six years after an apocalyptic event killed her family and seemingly everyone else on earth, a lone girl on the verge of insanity is forced to question everything she has ever known when a strange man suddenly appears at her door. The last girl on earth... is not alone.
Starring Lili Reinhart (Law&Order: SVU, Surviving Jack, The Kings of Summer), Warren Bryson (Finale) and introducing Charity Farrell in an award-winning role. Forever's End is an award-winning new apocalyptic thriller from Director-Producer-Cinematographer JC Schroder, co- produced by Michael Katchman and featuring an original score by multiple award winning composer-orchestrators Douglas Romayne (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Captain America, The Avengers) and Douglas Edward (One Tree Hill, Chuck).
Director’s Statement
“Forever’s End is a post-apocalyptic psychological thriller, a film that plays out with unexpected twists and turns in an untraditionally lush post-apocalyptic world. I’m a big proponent of creating believable, complex characters and placing them within a unique world. What I love about this film is that what’s truly happening under the surface of these characters can be just as compelling as the story you’re seeing unfold on screen. The film truly is detailed, precise, and as much drama as it is psychological thriller; it plays as if it were a mystery, everything you’re seeing is in question and my hope is that once the credits roll, you’ll want to go back again and again to pick up on the subtle details, the hints that point to what's really behind the story.
While I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work on many projects both big and small, studio and independents, Forever’s End is my feature directorial debut, and as such it will always have a special place in my heart. CHARITY FARRELL-- Sarah White
Charity Farrell stars as Sarah White, a troubled young woman teetering on the edge, left to survive on her own after an apocalyptic event killed her entire family some six years prior. Farrell's film credits include the 2006 indie feature The Monster's Mind, and the award winning shortsSunday Spin and For Today.
LILI REINHART -- Lily White
Lili Reinhart stars as Lily White, Sarah's sister and tormentor, a continuing reminder that the past is far from over. Reinhart is best known for her roles on NBC's Law&Order SVU, series regular FOX's Surviving Jack, and the CBS Films' feature The Kings of Summer, as well as indiesLilith, GIbsonburg, and Not Waving But Drowning, among others.
WARREN BRYSON -- Ryan
Warren Bryson stars as Ryan, a mysterious many who appears on Sarah's doorstep after years of isolation, claiming the world is anything but what it seems. Alongside a plethora of commercial and print work, Bryson's film credits include Finale, Down for the Dollar, and Haven Hill.
JC SCHRODER – Director/Writer/Producer
JC Schroder is a Director and Producer of award-winning independent film, live event, commercial and new media productions. As the owner of LA-based production shingle Star Com Productions, over the past decade Schroder has produced more than 100 original film, television, and new media productions reaching more than 75 million viewers worldwide (from music videos and events to independent short and feature films). Additionally, Schroder has worked in various capacities on more than 150 productions, ranging from independents to film and television productions for most major studios and television networks.
