  1. Brief Description of the Longer-Term Recruiting Efforts Completed During Year (Need 4 in 24 month period):

During 2014 the company participated in a variety of long-term recruiting efforts, including, but not limited to:

EEO Training – Provided employees with training on the Company’s EEO policy during Orientation, and online as part of the Workplace Harassment: Recognizing and Preventing Harassing Behavior training.

Training – Provided all employees with access to training classes through the Company’s professional development center. A wide range of classes is offered that enable employees to acquire skills that could assist them with qualifying for higher-level positions.

Job Fairs/Career Expos/Conferences- NABJ National Annual Convention – National Association of Black Journalists (July 30 -August 2, 2014); Asian American Journalists Association Convention (AAJA) (August 13 – 15, 2014); National Association of Hispanic Journalists Convention (NAHJ) (August 14 – 16, 2014); National Association of Native American Journalist (NAJA) (July 10 – 13 2014);Hispanicize (April 1, 2014). 3rd Annual NYC Conference: Inclusion, Collaboration & Engagement Digital Diversity Workshop (November 6, 2014).

Internships- The focus of the internships in 2014 was to create exposure and opportunities for college students to acquire basic skills necessary for a career in broadcasting. Recruitment for the internship programs entailed attending Career Fairs/Campus events at the following:
