Fast growing organization based in Ottawa, ON, operating in the field of stone fabrication (kitchen countertops, custom fabrication, vanity tops, etc.), is looking for talented individuals to start with us in the full-time or part time position of “TGI Mobile Sales Rep” (we have several openings).

The chosen professionals will have the opportunity to generate “GREAT EARNINGS” (competitive base pay PLUS substantial commissions) and will be responsible for DOOR TO DOOR SALES, prospecting the market in a certain region of the city, generating leads, identifying customers, meeting with customers (face to face), generating quotes (sometimes while at the client’s residence), and closing deals; in Ottawa and surroundings areas.

These positions are geared for the REAL sales professional at heart. This is for the “GO GETTERS”. Those who go around, prospect the market, find the customer, and close the deal! You DO NOT need to have your own vehicle. You can work and generate substantial income, in your own neighbourhood.

WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

· Excellent oral and written English communication skills (French is an asset).

· Excellent presentation skills.

· Be polite, personable, strong work ethics and high level of integrity.

· Ability to effectively generate leads, manage them, contact them regularly, and convert them into actual sales / customers.

· During the first 3 months, or until you feel comfortable to do the complete sales cycle (sales process and project management) on your own, you have two options to collect your commissions:

o Option # 1 (you only deliver the marketing piece): you only deliver the marketing piece and when the customer contacts the office or request a quote from you, the customer is directed to call or visit our sales office & showroom, and one TGI showroom sales rep takes care of the preparation of the quote, and doing the project management of your project. In this case you will get 50 % of the total commission of your project and the TGI showroom sales rep who supports you with your projects, will get the other 50 % . The postal code of the customer, will also determine to which area (which TGI mobile sales rep) the project belongs.

o Option # 2 (you deliver the marketing piece and manage the entire project): you feel prepared to approach the customer, show stone samples, prepare the quote, close the deal, manage the project internally at TGI (purchasing of stone slabs, sinks, faucets, etc; fabrication, installation, and collection of final balance). If you decide to take care of those steps, which complete the sales cycle, you would be entitled to FULL commission of your sales. After your training period and with practical experience, the following tasks will be expected from you, and will help you to move from option # 1 to option # 2 above. At that point, you would be able to collect full commissions, if that is what you would like to do.

· Assist customers to define their projects (using stone slabs of granite, quartz, marble, etc). You will have a kit with stone samples for that purpose, and can generate quotes using a tablet and custom software for that application (supplied by the company).

· Capable of identifying the opportunity and closing the deal in a face to face meeting with the customer.

· Schedule, organize and coordinate multiple installations (kitchen countertops, vanity tops and other projects using stone slabs), with assistance from the designated project manager.

· Maintain accurate records related to sales and prepare daily sales reports for the Sales Manager.

· Keep yourself updated with current sales and promotions, to be more effective when dealing with customers.

· Educate the client about our products, as wells as their maintenance and durability.

· If you have your own vehicle, Valid Driver’s licence. Your vehicle must be insured and be in good working condition.

· Your own cell phone (we provide an allowance).

YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE:

· If you have the “entrepreneurial spirit” but do not have your own vehicle, you can work in your own neighbourhood/community. Please indicate that in your application!
