After much number crunching, here are the 4A Girls Rankings for Saturday’s State Finals. The initial positions were set up by averaging out a giant mock State Meet based off of Region times, and then tweaked around for only a handful of teams. Tweaking was based on slower/faster Region courses, team consistency throughout the year, and even team depth.

For almost every ranking I put here, I used the times that were recorded from the District Championships. I put the top 15 individuals in each Region (except Region 1 because of their depth) and the top 6 teams that should be qualifying on to the State Finals. Week of District Ranking

Here are the rankings for all eight 4A Girls Districts and how I think the team results should look like. It took me a while to piece together all of the top teams in each district (with exception to 7/8 which is the Miami area) and so I hope I didn’t miss any teams in the rankings.
As for individual rankings, it was hard to try and compare all of the various conference meets and then do the rankings per District, especially since a lot of times slowed down after running at the flrunners7 Ed Radice speedway. Therefore, I left them off for this ranking but they’ll be back for the Regional and State Finals rankings.

There were a ton of results from the past two weeks to be able to look through for team rankings, but while some teams ran two or three races, unfortunately many of teams only ran once. So as every pollster will say this week, this will be better cleared up after flrunners7.
Once again I estimated by adding and/or subtracting total team times for various courses, and also took into account those teams who have a strong front runner. The biggest issue I see as of right now is that there are a good 4-6 teams battling for those last 2 spots in Region 1. Therefore I only ranked the top 7 Region 1 teams and the others are listed as upcoming teams. So good luck to those up north!
