Fast Company Announces Finalists for 2014 Innovation By Design Awards

53 honorees include Disney, Google, Nike, The New York Times, Quirky

All are highlighted in Fast Company’s 11th annual design issue

Winners to be revealed on October 15th

New York, New York- September 8, 2014 - The finalists for Fast Company’s prestigious Innovation By Design Awards were announced today, live on FastCoDesign.com. All 53 finalists are highlighted in the October issue of the print magazine, which hits newsstands September 16.

The Innovation by Design Awards, now in their third year, honor the most innovative and disruptive design solutions to today’s business problems. This year’s judging panel, which was once again comprised of the world’s best design minds, selected the finalists from among 1,587 international submissions across ten categories. Honorees include big-name brands like Nike and Google, and design firms like fuseproject and Sagmeister & Walsh.

The winners will be announced on October 15th at a celebration in New York, as part of Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Conference where design leaders from Nest, IDEO, Etsy, Cooper Hewitt and others will present. More information on the awards and conference can be found here.
