How do first time users get registered to use HVACpartners?

First time users can get registered by one of two methods:

  1. Contact the person at your distributor who’s designated as the “HVACpartners Distributor Admin.” This person will complete the steps that are necessary for you to get registered.
  2. Go to HVACpartners’ main login screen by entering the URL, click the link “Register as a new user,” and complete the user request form.

How do I log in to the new site?

To login, you’ll need a username and password that are issued by HVACpartners.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

Go to HVACpartners’ main login screen and click the link labeled “Forgot my password”. A new password will be sent to the email address listed in your HVACpartners profile. As an alternative, you can contact the Distributor Admin and ask him or her to reset your password.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, log onto HVACpartners, then click “My profile” located at the top of the page.

How do I change my contact information / profile?

To change your contact information or to update your profile, log onto HVACpartners, then click “My profile” located at the top of the page. Edit the information as necessary. Additional profile information such as job function, security groups, and company association are done by your distributor admin.

How do I get additional help?

Contact the person at your distributor who’s designated as the “HVACpartners Distributor Admin.”

Tabs, Navigation, and Programs

What are these Alerts on my Home page?

The alerts box is to give you quick links into the areas that allow you to interact with the system, like sending messages to other users, etc.

Who can create these Alert messages?

Links are displayed in this area based upon your personal profile setup. If you are Distributor Administrator, you will receive additional links in this area. The Message center is visible to everyone.

How do I respond to these messages?

To view a message that has been sent to you, click on the subject of the message in your inbox. Then click on the message link found in the alerts box. To reply, just click the reply button on the message detail page and type your response.

Where do I find information about various residential marketing programs?

  • Factory Authorized Dealer (FAD) – click the following menus: Residential | Residential Marketing | Marketing Programs | FAD. Note that there is a Members only area for FAD located Residential | FAD.
  • Alliance/Select – click the following menus: Residential | Residential Marketing | Marketing Programs | Alliance/Select.
  • Documents – now found under the Literature tab.
  • EPIC – click the following menus: Parts | Epic.

Distributor Administrative Questions

How do I add a company?

If you have the proper security to administer companies, you click the Admin tab | Company, then add a new company.

How do I add a user/contact to a company?

If you have the proper security to administer users, you click on the Admin tab | Users, then add a new user.

How do I search for my dealers?

Click Directory | Company(s) | My Dealers/Contractors.

How do I search for users?

Click Directory | User(s) | My Dealer/Contractor, or My Branches.

How do I add zip codes for Dealer Locator?

Find the dealer you are looking for, click on the magnifying glass to view the details of the record, click on the manage zip codes link. Modify the zip codes and save your work.

How do I correct dealer information?

Pull up dealer record (via the magnifying glass), make the desired changes and save your work.

How do I enroll dealers in marketing programs?

You can enroll dealers in a marketing program by one of two methods:

  • Through dealer detail record.
  • Through the program administration found under the admin tab.

How do I change Security for a contact?

Pull up the contact’s detail record, make the required changes and save your work. Please note, that in order for the change in security to take effect, the contact must log off and then log back on.

What security level should I give contacts?

The security level for contacts is based on the policy you establish at your distributorship.

How do I enroll/unenroll a dealer on the locator?

Pull up dealer record (via the magnifying glass), and change the enrollment status for Locator. Please note the dealer must have a Distributor-Dealer relationship with your distributorship and a company type of Dealer/Contractor in order to be eligible for Dealer Locator.
