Fantasy League arrives at NHTCC for the 2016 season, with players from the 1st XI & 2nd XI eligible for selection. Can you do better than the selection committee and find that winning combination?

GENERAL RULES

  1. Entry charge is £10 per team.
  2. Each team hasa budget of 60 Hedgetop tokens, to buy players with.
  3. Each team must consist of 5 batters, 2 all-rounders, 1 wicketkeeper and 3 bowlers.
  4. Each player must be specified as one of the above roles and will only score points for that role.For example, if you have Harry Talbot down as a batter and Steve Parkinson as a bowler, you won’t score many points… (Your two chosen all rounders score batting, bowling and fielding points every game)
  5. As a manager, you do NOT have to pick yourself.
  6. No expletives in team names (we’re a family club).
  7. Points are awarded from all 1st XI & 2nd XI league games.
  8. Each manager may select a player to be the captain. This player scores double points, and can be changed during the transfer window (see Transfers).
  9. Teams will not be officially entered until payment has been received.

NB. Your Wicketkeeper must be an actual keeper (there are four to choose from), they can still score batting points

TRANSFERS

  1. Each team is allowed three transfers during the allotted window (20th June- 8th July)
  2. It is up to the team manager to ensure that the transfers keep their team’s total spend at or below £60,000. If the transfers will cause the team’s total to exceed £60,000 then they shall not be valid.
  3. Information on how to arrange will be provided pre transfer window open so everyone knows how to do so.

  1. Total money gained from team entries will go towards the prize fund

  6. Wooden spoon for the Louis Van Gaal of the club 2016

N.B. The values given to players are a reflection of stats from last season and the number games each player is expected to play in the upcoming season. Therefore projecting the number of points they are likely to acquire, and do not reflect opinions of the Selection Committee.
