Hello Quizmaster,

.... and thanks for choosing FPQ!

A few notes to help your quiz night go smoothly are called for and some explanations of the questions below.

Hand out a copy of the pictures at the start and let the quizzers mull them over during the night. Mark them last.

You should finish asking the first round questions about 35 to 40 minutes in (don’t worry if its nearer 15 you can repeat certain questions as asked), give them a 15 to 20 minute break during which time you can clarify questions and allow them to mull over the last question. The second round will take about the same and you’ll use the rest of the time in marking and clarifying. All in all, the quiz should last about 2 hours!

Question 10: FF: In each round is a Family Fortunes question. Basically it’s the same as the TV show format where 100 people were surveyed and the five answers listed are the top five responses. Generally, give a point for each the quizzers get right (ask them to list 5 when asking the question) and give a bonus point if they have the top answer identified. Total of six points there which can change the leadership of your quiz and mix things up a bit!

Round 1, Question 20: This follows the “Call My Bluff” format. Basically, you read the three possible meanings of the word and they have to guess the right one.

Round 2, Question 20: This is merely an anagram for them to decipher. Give them time to write the spelling and wording clearly and they will scratch around for a while before they work it out!

I hope this helps but if not or you just want to let me know how it goes then feedback on the website. I will gladly give advice and help to any of my customers!

Cheers
