FRF is a multi-faith charity with a strong track record of achieving targets and outcomes to ensure positive change for disadvantaged individuals and communities. We use our link with faith-based communities, statutory and non-statutory bodies to address poverty, regenerate deprived areas, provide and promote learning opportunities and job brokerage services to BME groups in faith and culturally sensitive setting. Our Mission is to eliminate the barriers that lead to social exclusion and poverty. We work with people of all faiths and backgrounds to build stronger, more cohesive communities.

We are looking to recruit aProject Manager who will manage the delivery of high quality support to women escaping and recovering from domestic violence through our‘Domestic Violence: A Concern for All’Project contracted to Faith Regen Foundation and funded by Big Lottery. The project will offer:

  • A range of services to survivors and victims of domestic violenceconsisting of emotional support, confidence building, employability workshops and accredited ESOL and vocational training.
  • Short term work placements (WP) will also be sourced for the clients.
  • There will be workshops to raise awareness to faith and community leaders to enable them to lead on creating a shift in misinformed cultural understanding and practices.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible:

  1. To proactively monitor effective delivery of the DV project, with the full engagement of the staff team, and ensure that the services meet the required specifications at all times, and are shaped by the feedback of the women.
  1. To ensure that projects targets are achieved
  1. To ensure that project systems and procedures are maintained in accordance with Big Lottery grants.
  1. To provide effective leadership for the project delivery and ensure appropriate deployment of staff.
  1. To formulate a delivery plan for the project manager and ensure outputs are achieved.
  1. To manage, organise and motivate project teams, subcontractors and partners so that the project is delivered efficiently and effectively.
  1. To promote positive relationships between project staff, partners and beneficiaries ensuring operation within the guidelines of Faith Regen Foundation’s performance indicators, policies and procedures.
  1. To ensure compliance with all internal quality assurance criteria and those specified by funder;
  1. To assist the Head of Corporate Services in the establishment and maintenance of appropriate performance indicators which enable Faith Regen Foundation to produce evidence of its operational achievements against set targets.
  1. To be responsible for health and safety issues on all accountable projects and for ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
  1. To facilitate monitoring and evaluation of the project.
  1. Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
  1. To ensure the service is sensitive to the needs of the women using them and that the policies, procedures and ethics of FRF are fully understood and implemented by staff.

To be considered candidates must:

  1. Be educated to degree level or equivalent (essential)
  2. Have previous experienceof working with Domestic violence victims and/or on projects on DV (desirable)
  3. Have experience of working with consultants/partners/contractors
  4. Have experience of delivering funded contracts based on outcomes
  5. Have excellent report writing skills;
  6. Have strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality;
  7. Have working knowledge of government funded initiatives and policies and the issues facing vulnerable women
