Devotional:

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Psalm 139:13-14

Take a look at your shirt. What kind of fabric is used? Can you identify the stitching patterns that are used as well? I bet you never took the time to look closely at the intricate pieces of fabric that your clothes are made of. Think about where that fabric came from. How it was stitched together? How long did it take? What about the color of your shirt? Was it dyed? Does it have more than one color on it?

What about us? Look at your hand. Is it smooth? Are your fingers narrow? Do you have long fingernails? Look at the lines on the palms of your hand. Do you see the patterns they make? Now look at hand of the person sitting next to you. Is their hand the same as yours? Does it have the same exact coloring? Texture? Lines? Now take a second to think about the hand of every person’s hand that was ever created. How awesome is it that God took the time to create us so differently. We are His original creation. He knit us in our mother’s womb. We are wonderful in our own right because He designed us that way.

Let us always remember that He is the master designer!
