Please read the following safeguards and warnings carefully before using the product in order to avoid damages and losses.

Note:

l  Do not expose the device to lampblack, steam or dust. Otherwise it may cause fire or electric shock.

l  Do not install the device at position exposed to sunlight or in high temperature. Temperature rise in device may cause fire.

l  Do not expose the device to humid environment. Otherwise it may cause fire.

l  The device must be installed on solid and flat surface in order to guarantee safety under load and earthquake. Otherwise, it may cause device to fall off or turnover.

l  Do not place the device on carpet or quilt.

l  Do not block air vent of the device or ventilation around the device. Otherwise, temperature in device will rise and may cause fire.

l  Do not place any object on the device.

l  Do not disassemble the device without professional instruction.

Warning:

l  Please use battery properly to avoid fire, explosion and other dangers.

l  Please replace used battery with battery of the same type.

l  Do not use power line other than the one specified. Please use it properly. Otherwise, it may cause fire or electric shock.

1  Overview

The WEB-end of parking detector provides network, camera, intelligent detection and daily maintenance configurations.

Device default IP is 192.168.1.108. Please set your PC and the device in the same network segment before connecting device to the Internet.

You can refer to either of the following method to access device, login WEB, modify device IP address and etc.

l  In accessory disk, find quick configuration tool, search device info to login WEB.

l  In IE address field, enter device IP address and press Enter to login WEB.

The login page is shown in Figure 1- 1. Default username and password are both admin.

Note:

When you login device WEB for the first time, please load control unit following instructions.

The homepage is shown in Figure 1- 2.

Note:

You can logout system by clicking Logout button in the upper-right corner. If you want to login again, you must enter username and password again.

In the WEB page, there are some frequently used buttons, please see below.

/ Click this button, so each parameter restores to default value.
/ Click this button, so each parameter changes to the most recently saved value.
/ After you change parameter setup, click this button to save change.

Note:

Setup contents of interface subject to actual interface. Here is only a reference.

2  System Setup

2.1  ITC

You shall configure parking property, snapshot function and etc. of parking detector.

2.1.1  Parking Config

2.1.1.1  Parking Property

Parking detector can only detect 3 spaces by default. You shall configure zone no., parking no., event type and etc. of the three spaces.

Note:

ITC114-PH1B series max supports 2 parking statuses to be detected at the same time, and do not check .

Step 1.  Select Setup>ITC>Parking Property Config>Parking Property. System shows Figure 2- 1.

Step 2.  Enable snapshot function of space you want to snapshot.

Step 3.  Configure Parking Zone no.

Step 4.  In Parking dropdown list, select parking no., configure Customized Parking No.

Step 5.  Click on , set event advance config. See Figure 2- 2 and Figure 2- 3.

Parameter / Function /
Snap Times / Auto snapshots times of device each time.
No Plate Sensitivity / Device detection sensitivity for no-plate vehicle.
The lower the value, the higher the sensitivity will be.
Plate Sensitivity / Device detection sensitivity for plate vehicle.
The lower the value, the higher the sensitivity will be.

Step 6.  Click on Save.

2.1.1.2  Scene

When the parking detector is detecting parking, by drawing virtual area, it detects parking space and vehicle status, and can protect privacy in shielding area.

Step 1.  Select Setup>ITV>Parking Property Config>Scene. See Figure 2- 4.

Note:

When all parking are full, check to automatically adjust parking detection zone. Not recommended.

Step 2.  Draw parking area for detection.

Note:

l  When drawing area, each area supports only four lines.

l  Select and click Redraw, or click to delete existing line.

Select and click redraw, so you can circle areas on the left in screen, as the green box above.

Step 3.  Draw shielding area. The process is same as drawing area line. .

Step 4.  Click Save.

2.1.1.3  Recognition

Via recognition config, you can configure snapshot of no-plate vehicle and recognize location where plated vehicle is from.

Click Setup>ITC>Parking Property Config>Recognition. See 错误!未找到引用源。. Set parameters.

Parameter / Note
Capture Unlicensed Vehicle / Check to enable snapshot.
Sensitivity Unlicensed Vehicle / Sensitivity of non-plate vehicle detection, there are three levels of high, medium and low.
Vehicle Sign / Brand recognition.
Local Plate / Set local province/state text.
Plate Size / Set plate size.

2.1.2  OSD Select

You shall configure snapshot mode, snapshot display info.

Go to Setup>ITC>OSD Select, check general information and extended information you want to display. Set font size. Click Save when you are done. See Figure 2- 6.

Note:

Time info is always displayed, and you can manually enter address info.

2.1.3  Light Control

When parking detector is idle or working, built-in light or external light will change color.

Parking detector may remotely control another parking detector’s light status, or controlled by another one.

Step 1.  Select Setup>ITC>Light Control. See Figure 2- 7.

Step 2.  Configure light.

l  If a light is going to be controlled by another parking detector, check Accept Control, and input its IP address.

l  If the light is not controller by other vehicle detector, please skip this step.

Step 3.  Configure light sensitivity.

You can configure plate vehicle light sensitivity, no-plate vehicle light sensitivity. The smaller the value, the faster the light turns on.

Step 4.  Configure parking status light information.

Colors have red, yellow, blue, green, cyan, white, pink and off.

Step 5.  Configure net status corresponding light info.

Please select NO or flash when single net or dual net error occur accordingly.

Step 6.  If the parking detector will control another detector light status, please follow these steps to configure: If no need, please skip.

1.  Click . See Figure 2- 8.

2.  Check Remote Control.

3.  Enter username, password and IP address being controller.

4.  Click Save.

Note:

Click to add other remote device, or click to delete corresponding remote device.

Step 7.  Click Save.

2.1.4  RS485/232 Configuration

If a third-party device wants to connect the parking detector, you shall configure serial information. System only supports RS485 and RS232 ports.

Step 1.  Select Setup>ITC>RS485/232.

See Figure 2- 9.

Step 2.  Configure corresponding serial parameter, click Save.

When you complete serial config, now you send and receive data between device and serial.

Parameter / Function
Protocol / COM protocol type, including none and transparent.
Data Bit / Serial transmission data bit.
Stop Bit / Single data pack last bit. Currently only support 1.
Baud Rate / Data transmission speed.
Parity / Serial communication parity, currently only support no parity.

Note:

Serial Config parameter much match serial side config parameter.

To send and receive data:

Step 1.  Click on Open to open receiving area and sending area.

Step 2.  In sending area, input communication data, click on send.

Now device sends data to serial.

Data sent by serial to device are shown in receiving area.

2.1.5  ITC Default Setup

You can select Setup>ITC>Intelligence Default, click on Default to restore default settings. See Figure 2- 10.

2.2  Camera

You must set camera attributes and video property of parking detector.

2.2.1  Attributes

You can set attributes under different modes.

Step 1.  Select Setup>Camera> Attributes. See Figure 2- 11.When you are done, click Save.

Parameter / Function
Brightness / It is to adjust monitor window brightness. You can adjust this value if the video is too dark or too bright. The larger the number, the bright the video is. When you input the value here, the bright section and the dark section of the video will be adjusted accordingly. Please note the video may become hazy if the value is too high.
The value ranges from 0 to 100. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60. The default value is 50.
Contrast / It is to adjust monitor window contrast. The larger the number, the higher the contrast is. You can use this function when the whole video bright is OK but the contrast is not proper. Please note the video may become hazy if the value is too low. If this value is too high, the dark section may lack brightness while the bright section may over exposure .
The value ranges from 0 to 100. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60. The default value is 50.
Saturation / It is to adjust monitor window saturation. The larger the number, the strong the color is. This value has no effect on the general brightness of the whole video. The video color may become too strong if the value is too high. For the grey part of the video, the distortion may occur if the white balance is not accurate. Please note the video may not be attractive if the value is too low.
The value ranges from 0 to 100. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60.
The default value is 50.
Sharpness / Adjust detail definition of image.
When image detail definition is not high, you can adjust this parameter.
l  When this value is too high, image will be in distortion.
l  When this value is too low, image will be blurred.
The value ranges from 0 to 100. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60.
The default value is 50.
Gamma / Used to adjust image brightness and contrast.
When the ratio of brightness and contrast is not suitable, you can adjust this parameter.
The value ranges from 0 to 100. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60.
The default value is 50.
Anti-flicker / By adjusting device frequency, make device frequency and external frequency identical, and video do not flash.
l  Outdoor:when device is outdoor, check this parameter.
l  50Hz:When light frequency is 50Hz,you shall adjust device frequency to this parameter.
l  60Hz:when light frequency is 60Hz, you shall adjust this parameter.
Exposure Mode / Camera exposure mode.
l  auto:system auto adjusts camera accordingly.
l  Low noise:by adjusting “gain range”, to achieve low noise.
l  Defend smear:by adjusting “shutter range”, to defend smear.
l  Manual:manually adjust “gain range” and “shutter adjust”,to lower noise and defend smear.
Scene Mode / Select device environment scene mode, adjust image to best condition.
l  auto:according to device environment, auto adjust image to best condition.
l  day:for image status in day time.
l  night:for image status at night time.
Day&Night / It is to set device day/night mode switch independently from profile.
The value ranges from 0 to 100. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60.
The default value is 50.
BLC / Effectively compensate image under backlight environment.
When the target is in front of string backlight, you can enable BLC mode, so it adjusts to WDR, and make image clearly visible.
l  OFF:close BLC always.
l  BLC:
¯  Default:default BLC mode.
¯  customized:manually set BLC area. Click mouse to drag yellow box, customize BLC area position; drag four red dots at corners of the yellow box with mouse, click customize BLC area size; click to delete.
l  WDR:the higher the WDR, the more the layer will be.
l  HLC:the higher the value, the more obvious the glare inhibition will be.
3D NR / Lower noise of image.

2.2.2  Video

You shall configure device video bit stream, picture stream, video overlay and storage path.

Here you set video main stream, sub stream.
