F45 TRAINING – Frequently Asked Questions from Current SSLC Members

F45 Training will run classes in the morning and the evening. A minimum of 6 classes will occur week days, with 2 sessionson Saturday. Each day the classes have a theme.

Each session is circuit based. You will move through a series of exercises guided and supported by our training team to ensure that every member can achieve or maintain their fitness goals.

Athletica -Monday,WednesdayandFriday. These days concentrate on cardio fitness.

Romans -TuesdayandThursday. These days concentrate on strength and resistance.

Hollywood - This session combines both elements.

All classes can cater for both low impact and high impact exercises adjusted for each member.

What does a basic F45 program look like?

Depending on whether it’s a cardio or resistance day, a typical program will be a mix of body weight exercises and equipment programmed to give you an all-over body workout.

Who trains at F45?

The training programs at F45 cater for every age group and every fitness level.

Are most of the programs the same?

No, we have hundreds of exercises that we use in our programs and each day you walk into a different gym set up with a different set of exercises to those you did the week before. This helps keep everyone on their toes, no-one can become too complacent with the programs. No two days are ever the same.

Does F45 help people lose weight, get fit, and get strong?

F45 assists in all of the above. It helps you burn fat, get fitter and definitely become stronger. The mix of cardio and resistance weight-based training is the perfect way to maximise your metabolic rate, helping you to reduce your fat and build your muscle. Like anything, the more dedicated you are the quicker you will see the results - but we generally say that within six weeks, you will notice a change in your body.

What is the biggest benefit of F45 training?

It’s fun, fast and effective. You are in a group environment, which keeps you motivated and enthusiastic, you are in and out within 45 minutes, and you are training your muscles in the most effective way to see maximum results.

Why is F45 training proving to be so popular?

It’s an all over body work-out that most people can jump right into straight away, everyone can do the same exercise at their own pace or weight. We are time-based not rep-based, which means you work to your maximum not somebody else’s and you can be done and dusted within 45 minutes.

What sessions can SSLC members with a current membership attend?

All SSLC members will have complimentary access to all F45 Classes for 2 months provided that they register within 4 weeks from our opening day, the 18th of July. To access the classes SSLC members will be required to register with F45 Training. This can be done online or at the SSLC reception, or during class hours our trainers can help get this registration completed.

What happens after the 2 months?

All SSLC members who registered and accessed the free 2 months will be eligible for the SSLC Foundation Membership. This will be at our current Foundation membership price.

What about other classes like Yoga or Pilates?

F45 Training will be launching sessions for all members, not just F45. These classes will include our Zen Classes (Yoga/Pilates/Stretch). These will be launched in late August.

What does my SSLC membership provide if I do not sign up with F45?

SSLC will continue to provide memberswith access to the weights, cardio area and Aqua classes. When a class is not running you are free to use all the F45 designated area & equipment as well.

What is the Seniors Class with F45 – 8:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday?

This class is designed to allow members of the SSLC to attend a class at F45 as a low impact, dry land alternative to the Aqua classes. This class will operate at a less intense, but just as effective environment marking sure every member of the SSLC community can benefit from functional training.

What about the 9:15 Class?

This is a normal F45 class as per the daily schedule. We have a member at F45 Mascot who is 67 and attends the F45 Training programs daily. We also have elite athletes in the very same class.

What about GROUP ON Discounts?

F45 Training has a very strict policy regarding Group On discounts. They are only available to members who have not accessed our 7 day free trial or attended a F45 Training Sans Souci session.

How do I book my classes if I do not have access to a computer/smartphone?

The SSLC reception staff or the F45 Training team will help you out. We can book classes in advance for you.
