3.3.8.4 – It was mentioned that some of the annual trophies don’t state the award won. To take forward to end of next season – Engraving to be added at end of season. To re-address at February meeting.
5.1 - Ruth to e-mail all captains with the knock out draw- ACTION COMPLETE
5.2 - All captains to inform their teams and venues of the matches- ACTION COMPLETE
6.1 - Ruth to pass £968.57 to Julie to bank- ACTION COMPLETE
7.1 - 2 x £500 will be donated to charities this season. Charities considered are Marie Curie, Age concern and Derbyshire Mountain Rescue. To all be considered and confirmed at next meeting – SEE AOB / All annual trophies to be engraved with the award won
4 / League Issues
~ All league matches are to be played by Friday 17th February.
~ Ruth is still outstanding a lot of score cards. Please could all teams ensure that they are passed onto Ruth asap
~ Discussion over a game between Tom Wild and Miners Molls that was not played and ‘forfeited’. It was clarified that this cannot happen and the game must be played. / -Captains to ensure all league matches are played by 17/2/17

~ The knock out draws for the following where drawn –
~ 2nd round of team knock out – To be played w/c 20th February at the home venue
~ Ladies singles – To be played at Miners Arms on Monday 27thFebruary.
Officiators – Stuart & Gordon
~ Singles – To be played atthe Shoulder of Mutton and Eyam Club on Tuesday 28th February. Officiator – Shoulder: Ruth. Eyam Club: Stuart
~ Pairs – To be played at the Crispin and Sir Williamon Monday 6th March.Officiator – Crispin: Stuart. Sir William: Ruth
~ Ladies team knock out – To be played on Tuesday 7th March depending on teams enteringat the Miners Arms. If only two teams enter, then the game will go straight to the finals night.
~ 3rd round of team knockout – To be played w/c Monday 13th March at the home venues
~ Semi Finals night will be played on Monday 20th March at the Miners Arms
~ Finals night to be played on Friday 24th March at Eyam Club
~ Ruth to e-mail all captains with the knock out draws. All players need to ensure that they arrive promptly by 8.00pm and are available for all knockout stages.
~ All teams to write names for ladies singles knock outs on the back of a scorecard by Friday 17th February.
To avoid disruption with no shows, the teams were drawn out again to decide which teams will be playing at each venue. The draw will then be made on the night at 8.10pm prompt for teams present. Officiators have been selected to oversee the draws at each venue.
~ Please can all teams ensure that they have a representative to mark at the knock outs that they are attending. / -Ruth to contact venues to confirm knock outs

6 / Finances
~ The current balance should be £2301.67 (To be confirmed by Julie)
~ The total in collections so far for the season is £2047.80
~ Ruth is holding this money to enable her to make the necessary payments for the finals night. The outstanding money will be passed over to Julie to be banked at the AGM
7 / AOB
~ Please can the annual trophies be returned to Ruth at the Miners Arms by Friday 17thFebruary.
~ Two charitable donations of £500will be made on finals night to Marie Curie and Age Concern
~ The food on finals night will be provided by the Miners Arms again.
~ It was confirmed that medals and vouchers will be awarded as prizes again on finals night unless a player or team specifically requests a trophy.
Value for the team and knock out prizes is £15 for 1st place and £10 for 2nd place. All other individual prizes are £10. / -Annual trophies to be returned to Ruth by 17/2/17
