Arrival and Departure Clothes

Dancers MUST travel in:

GIRLS / AGSOD vest, AGSOD hoodie or slouch top, AGSOD or plain black leggings, black socks, own footwear
BOYS / AGSOD t shirt, AGSOD hoodie, AGSOD or plain black joggers, own footwear

Dancers need to arrive looking smart and professional. It would also look good if everyone could bring their lunch in the AGSOD tote bags.

Contact Details and Medical Information

If your emergency contact details or your child’s medical details have changed since you completed your enrolment form in September please write out your new details on a piece of paper and hand it to me. If your child requires medication on the day it must be written out on a piece of paper and talked through with myself prior to the event. Please note I will only be able to administer medication that has been prescribed to your child. This means medication that has your child’s name on the label, I cannot administer general medication like paracetamol.

On the day I will use the WhatsApp group to keep you updated with our travel, etc. Therefore please ensure you are added to the group if you removed yourself. Please also do not use this group for general chat as I need people to be able to access it for travel updates. Also on the day I would really appreciate you only contacting me if it is an absolute emergency as I will be very busy chaperoning the students.

Final thoughts ………..

I appreciate that everyone is very busy but we only have a few rehearsals left and there are unfortunately some dancers who can still not remember all the choreography. I have done my up most to ensure dancers are ready by doing video tutorials, providing one to one sessions with assistant helpers, extending a rehearsal and even changing choreography to accommodate students. However, ultimately the dancers do need to practice at home. If your dancer cannot perform both routines all the way through without hesitation on their own then they need to do more self-practice at home. Dancers should be practicing at least 5 times a week. Please can this be your priority over the next few weeks to ensure your dancer is prepared, if they are not fully confident with the routines it will be even harder when the nerves sets in on the day.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone all the best in the performance and I hope you have a fantastic day. Thank you to all the family members for your support and commitment to this project.

Thanks Amy
