Information for the applicants

Northern Rivers Social Development Council (NRSDC) is calling for Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to be members of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group.

The RAP Working Group is in the process of developing NRSDC’s Reconciliation Action Plan. Members of the RAP Working Group are consulted on all of the key strategic decisions made by NRSDC in their RAP to ensure the RAP is a valued and beneficial document capable of creating real change.

It is important for NRSDC to engage and consult with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities about the programs and services we offer which are intended to assist and benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.

Please find attached thedraft Terms of Reference for more information about the working group.

RAP Working Group members will be selected by NRSDC toachieve a broad representation of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and groups living in the Bundjalung,Yaegl, and Gumbainggirr Nations, within the NRSDC service area (Grafton to Tweed). This is intended to ensure gender, age and location diversity within the group.
