Sub: Elections for constituting Central Governing Council and Regional Governing Council of EPCES for 2016-18 through Electronic Voting – Implementation of provisions contained in Paragraph 2.92 of the Handbook of Procedures of 2015-20 of Foreign Trade Policy
This is in continuation of our earlier letter dated 2.5.2016 from Shri T.V. Ravi, IRS, Director (SEZs), MOC&I and DG, EPCES informing about your appointment as Returning Officer to conduct EPCES elections for all members of Central Governing Council and 7 Regional Vice-Chairmen and 7 Regional Governing Councils of EPCES through Electronic Voting for compliance of the provisions contained in Paragraph 2.92 of the Handbook of Procedures of 2015-20 of Foreign Trade Policy.
In this regard, we are enclosing herewith in attachment a list of electorate which comprise members of EPCES, who have paid membership subscription for the year 2015-16 as on 31st March, 2016, as well as new members enrolled from 1.4.2016 to 31.5.2016 as per details available with Head Office.
Your goodself may instruct to concerned official to display the said list in your Zone by June 8, 2016 and also place the said list on website of your Zone so that the members may check their names in the electorate list and inform the objections, if any. The last date for receipt of objections will be June 10, 2016.
The election process will start with the sending of Proposal Forms/Nominations on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 as per election schedule mentioned in our earlier letter dated 2.5.2016.
