Itinerary

• Day 1: Enjoy airport transfer from Havana International Airport to your hotel. Tonight,listen to the music at the world-renowned Buena Vista Social Club.(D)

• Day 2: This morning it’s time to get to know Havana and the Cuban people. Starting witha walking tour of Havana Vieja (Old Havana). Salsa lesson at one of Havana's best knownstudios.(B, L)

• Day 3: Viñales Valley Tour - Surrounded by limestone karsts, this UNESCO World HeritageSite is the origin of some of the finest tobacco in the world. Family-run paladar, withdelicious farm-to-table Cuban food served family-style, and breathtaking, panoramicviews.(B,L)

• Day 4: Cooking Class - Visit a Cuban specialty restaurant in the fishing village of Cojimarjust east of Havana. Visit to a local herb grower (and their supplier, just 3 blocks from therestaurant) where you can learn about their production process and hand-select herbs to use in food preparation.(B, L)

• Day 5: Travel to Trinidad. Get accustomed to the slow pace of island living on anorientation walk. The World Heritage site of Trinidad is like no other colonial city in Cubabecause it’s so well preserved, and the local residents are extremely friendly and festive.(B, D)

• Day 6: Free Day – Choose between several options, i.e. Playa Ancon, is a quick and easyride to and from Trinidad, so beach lovers can stay here and visit the colonial wonder ofTrinidad. Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Mills) was one of the most productivesugar-cane growing areas in all of Cuba. Topes de Collantes National Park, is the maindraw, a cool refuge from the heat that usually bakes the stone streets of Trinidad. It's asplendid area for hiking.(B)

• Day 7: Leave behind the picturesque beaches and mountains of Trinidad and return toHavana. Spend your last day buying gifts and listening to some amazing Cuban musicbefore having our farewell dinner.(B, D)

• Day 8: Departure Day. There are no activities planned for today. Return home to the USAor extend your trip. Celebrate the adventure and wonderful memories you have made in Cuba!(B)
