Young Professionals Council

The Chicago White Sox Charities Young Professionals Council is a group of promising young leaders between the ages of 23 and 39 who share the same love and passion for the White Sox and the mission of White Sox Charities (CWSC). The Young ProfessionalsCouncil’s focus is to help raise visibility of CWSC’s mission and support the programs through fundraising. The Young Professionals Council is comprised of 25 members.

Expectations of a Young Professionals Council member

  • Actively attend Young ProfessionalsCouncil meetings
  • Meetings are held six (6) times annually, every other month
  • A minimum annual contribution of $120/year
  • Support White Sox Charities fundraising events as a volunteer
  • Serve as a committee member on one Young Professionals Council committees
  • Fundraising events (each event has a designated committee or in the event of one larger event, responsibilities are divided into subcommittees)
  • Outreach
  • Actively participate in the Young Professionals Council fundraisers as determined by the Young Professionals Council members

Chicago White Sox Charities Mission

Established in 1990, Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) provides annual financial, in-kind and emotional support to hundreds of Chicago-based organizations, including those leading the fight against cancer, dedicated to improving the lives of Chicago’s youth through education and health and wellness programs, and those offering support to children and families in crisis. With the generous support of White Sox fans, friends and sponsors, CWSC has donated more than $20 million, striving to improve the quality of life for Chicagoans of all ages, races and genders.
