About the Cruise

This 5.5hour return cruise on the Riverhead Ferry takes you from Downtown Auckland, under the Auckland Harbour Bridge, past the Chelsea Sugar Works, Kauri Point Ammunition Dump, Hobsonville Airbase and Herald Island all the way to Riverhead. After the 1½ hours cruise on these sheltered waterways (with full commentary along the way if you wish) we reach the beautifully restored, award winning restaurant and bar, The Riverhead. Here you go ashore for 2½ hours to enjoy a meal, a few drinks and the stunning views before boarding the boat once again for the leisurely cruise back to Central Auckland.
