Determine your local paper
Choose the local paper that covers the city your business is located in. For example, if your business is in Livonia, you would choose the Livonia Eccentric. Please only select the one or two papers that cover your area. We are actively contacting the media to promote the show, including the larger Detroit newspapers, and a flux of press releases related to the show may deter the media from covering the show.
E-mail the press release
Locate an editor’s e-mail address. You can usually find the editor’s e-mail address within the newspaper website. Look for the “contact us” or “staff” sections. The best way to e-mail a reporter is to type up a short e-mail message and copy/paste the press release directly into the e-mail. Attachments sometimes get blocked. If you have any useful photos to offer the editor, mention that as well.

The show will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace, on Grand River, south of I-96 between Novi Road and Beck Road. Show hours are Friday 2-9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Adult admission (ages 13 and up) is $8; seniors (ages 55 and over) is $7; and children ages 12 and under are admitted free!
