Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology

Journal Description

The Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (Songklanakarin J. Sci. Technol.) aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the dissemination of current knowledge and advances in science and technology. Areas covered include Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Biotechnology and Agro-Industry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering and Industrial Research, Environment and Natural Resources, and Physical Sciences and Mathematics. Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology publishes original research work, either as full length articles or as short communications, technical articles, review articles, invited articles and special issues.

Guide for Authors

Manuscripts submitted for publication should be of high academic merit and are accepted on condition that they are contributed solely to the Songklanakarin J. Sci. Technol. Manuscripts, parts of which have been previously published in consideration for publication elsewhere.

Submission of a multi-authored manuscript implies the consent of all the participating authors.

All manuscripts considered for publication will be peer-reviewed by independent referees.

Submission checklistManuscripts submitted to Songklanakarin J. Sci. Technol. must include:

1.Cover letter to the Editors

2.A manuscript text file containing title page, abstract, keywords, text, acknowledgments, reference list and appendices (if necessary). No figures or tables should be included in this file. The title page of this file should include the title of the article, full names and affiliations of all authors, and the name, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers and full postal address of the corresponding author.

3.A figure file containing figures which are clear and high-quality with minimal shading. Each figure is to follow its number on the same page. A figure caption list should precede all the figures.

4.A table file containing all the tables (including title, description, footnotes).

5.An explanation file containing the answer to reviewers comments for the revised manuscript. Authors who are instructed to revise their manuscript have to highlight all point of their responded in text, figure and table files.

Corrected proofs should be returned within 5 days of receipt of the proofs by the author. The Publisher reserves the right to proceed with publication if corrections are not communicated. Should there be no corrections, confirmation of this should be made to the Publisher.

The Journal will do everything possible to get articles corrected and published as quickly and accurately as possible. In order to do this the cooperation of authors is needed. Following receipt of the (PDF) proofs for correction, authors should ensure that all corrections are sent back to the Journal in one communication. Subsequent corrections will not be possible, so the first return of corrections must be complete.
