Committee Meeting/Old Business

  1. Conference Update –Liz (from John & Solandy)
  2. Agenda- Draft of conference brochure was developed and presented by James. Bios are needed for Bill Heward and Deidre. Tiltle needed for Judith U. and a bio for Bob Ross. Organizational members will also be added.
  3. Info from Solandy- James has been working on the program book. Still needs poster information. – Solandy to get from John. James has been working on schedule and will make changes that were talked about. After reviewing schedule it was noted by Solandy that she needed to get an extra room for a half day. This was negotiated down to 400.00 from 600.00 and approved by Solandy. Lunch menu has changed to be a little more flexible regarding dietary and religious concerns. Total number of registrants at this time is around 140.

Poster session – agreed there should be an award again this year. Certificate for poster will be awarded before B.Ross session. Liz to make up certificate.

  1. Dinner- @7:00 @ Bacci Grill, Cromwell. All those attending RSVP to Solandy
  2. Speaker transportation- Deidre will be picking up Bill Heward. It was agreed to get a town car for pick up and drop off for Amy Odum.
  3. Volunteers- Solandy needs list of volunteers by next week. 4:00 for envelope stuffers and 5:00 for conference volunteers.
  4. Liz forms- CE form is made/updated by Liz. Designed this year to have to separate forms- one for BCBA’s to keep, survey for CTABA to keep. Ethic courses will be starred on CE form so that attendees can keep track in their own records. Mark P. to check with John re: approved ethics course.
  5. Advertising schedule- Email out exhibitor application out to everyone to see if we can pull in more exhibitors. Online registration will be closed on midnight March 4th.

Projectors: BEACON can donate some projectors. Solandy to talk with hotel to see if they will negotiate any.

    Development of a separate online survey?
    Transition of org membership process online?

Discussed changing way registering is being done. Have received several checks without a registration. James and Mark to indicate clarification with survey monkey
