RWA is currently recruiting for an Executive Administration Manager to provide administrative and logistical support to enhance the capacity of Reconciliation WA’s operations and objectives and to assist the CEO and Board with their administrative requirements and office management.

Reconciliation WA (RWA) is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association providing leadership, advocacy and support to people and organisations’ driving the movement for reconciliation in Western Australia (WA). The position will be employed by Reconciliation WA and is a new role within our organisation. Applications for this role will close on the 16th January, 2016. The successful applicant will be offered an initial one year contract with the option to extend based on satisfactory performance. We aim to start this new role on 6th February, 2017 subject to the successful applicant being available.

Classification Level / WACOSS Staff Agreement Salary Scale – Level 3 (up to $60 k based on experience)
Reporting line and roles under direct responsibility / Report to : Reconciliation WA EO
Direct responsibility : RWA Volunteer team
Position Tenure / Initial 12 month contract with performance based option to extend (3 month probationary period)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Office Administration / ·  Manage the CEO Schedule and Appointments
·  Coordinate meeting schedule for Board meetings
·  Provide administrative support to the RWA Board meetings
·  Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of such
·  Manage enquires from the public in relation to RWA’s work, specifically email and telephone enquiries.
·  Lead the delivery of events - management, project planning, implementation and oversight, review and debrief
·  In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
·  Undertake activities as required to meet the intended objectives and outcomes of Reconciliation WA /
Membership Communication / ·  Maintain and build effective communication with appropriate RWA members and stakeholders i.e Whole network emails, RWA newsletters etc
·  Work with the CEO to oversee maintenance and contribution of RWA’s social media– Facebook and Twitter.
·  Work with the CEO to oversee maintenance and accuracy of Reconciliation WA materials and website.
·  Manage RWA’s Membership enquiries and database.
·  Ensure maintenance and accuracy of RWA’s extensive contact list. /
Project Administration Support / ·  Provide administrative support for the forums, committees and workshops as required and or supported by RWA.
·  Provide administrative support for the RWA & Yokai Working groups – closing the gap / creating parity.
·  Provide administrative support to Yokai Aboriginal Employment and Retention Committee and forums /
Volunteer management / ·  Assist with the recruitment, induction and management of volunteers and their respective roles and projects
·  Grow the Volunteer team
·  Extend the Volunteer project base /
Occupational Health and Safety / ·  Employees are required to take reasonable care for their own safety and health at work and to avoid harming the safety and health of other people through any act or omission at work. Selection Criteria

Essential

·  Proven experience as an administration manager

·  Demonstrated experience writing and providing reports as required by different contracts

·  Ability to use initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision

·  Highly -developed interpersonal communication skills

·  Highly-developed organisational and time management skills, including an ability to work within tight deadlines

·  Excellent computer skills including the MS Office suite – ability to produce reports, document preparation and presentations

·  An ability to support and operate within the Reconciliation WA Vision, Purpose and Values

·  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with the WA Community broadly and with our First Australians

Desirable

·  Relevant Tertiary or Training Qualification

·  Understanding of the community service sector

·  Web and Social networking knowledge

·  Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander decent

Other

·  Current drivers licence

·  Capacity to travel within regional WA on occasions

·  Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
