On behalf of …………………………………………………………… [name of authority], public authority competent in the field of Waste Prevention, I hereby agree to take on the role of Coordinator of the European Week for Waste Reduction 2016 (19-27 November 2016) in ……………………………. …………………………………[name of the area covered] and I agree to the following commitments:
- to adhere to the objectives of the EWWR;
- to use the EWWR graphic charter and logo only for purposes related to the EWWR;
- not to modify the official communication tools (except translation and local adaptation, see below) provided for the 2016 edition of the EWWR ;
- to register “EWWR actions” proposed by “ActionDevelopers” of different categories (Administration/Public authority, Association/NGO, Business/Industry, Educational Establishment, Individual Citizen, Other) in the country/region/area concerned through the validation procedure defined by the EWWR Steering Committee and according to the defined validation criteria;
- where necessary, to ensure the translation of EWWR documents and to submit these translations to the EWWR Secretariat for validation before proceeding to print/use;
- to partake in reporting exercises and post-EWWR evaluation according to procedures defined by the EWWR Steering Committee;
- to provide pictures, videos, press book and other realised documents which represent EWWR actions;
- to make a pre-selection among the actions registered by my authority of one outstanding action per category of ActionDeveloper (mentioned above). These actionswill be entered in the competition for the European Waste Reduction Awards. You can find the selection criteria as provided by the Steering Committee online.
- As aCoordinator, I will be given access to the electronic versions of the EWWR 2016communication tools, available in the following languages: Catalan, Dutch, English, French, Hungarian,Italian, and Spanish. Potentially they will also be available in all European languages, depending on the availability of translations. Upon request, I may also have access to the source files to insert the logo of the organising authority or translate the tools to an additional language. I agree to use these source files and EWWR communication tools in all formats for the purposes of the European Week for WasteReduction only. I am aware that the translation and printingof these tools (optional) will be made at the expense of the authority that I represent;
- To inform my competent national authority of my participation in the EWWR (if I am not that national authority).
