27 / Special Condition :a) / Tender Security is payable in the form of Demand Draft/Pay order in favour of Deputy Director ,Regional Accounting Center. BWDB, Chittagong. Incase of work above Taka 200.00 lac, Bank Guarantee for Tender security ( Form PW3-6 attached with the tender document) is also payable in favour of Executive Engineer, Rangamati O&M Division, BWDB, Kaptai.
b) / The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
c) / The work may be totally dropped, postponed, decreased or increased . No claim or extra rate will be entertained for cancellation of the tender or issuance of work order with decreased/increased quantity of work.
d) / The signature of the tenderer duly notarized by a Notary public should be enclosed with the tender If the tender is signed and submitted in a way of fraudulent practice instead of signing by the actual tenderer/their authorized signatory his/her tender will be outright rejected and action will be taken according to PPR/2008.
e) / Payment will be made subject to the availability of fund and amount of payment will be made subject to recommendation of assessment committee formed by BWDB. No claim or extra payment will be entertained for delay of payment.
f) / If It is not possible to receive/open the tender on the scheduled date for unavoidable circumstances, the same will be received/ opened on the next working day at the same time and same venue.
g) / The provision lain down in PPR-2008 and standard Tender Documents will be in strict compliance.
h) / In case of credit certificate from bank, specific lot/package number and name of the work must be shown in the certificate.
i) / Work done amount/final bill amount of completed work will be considered in case of calculating similar nature work and average annual construction turnover.
j) / While purchasing the Documents, interested Tenderer shall submit a written application to the bank on their letter head pad (photo copy not applicable) with the authorized signature for selling the documents in favor of him/her
k) / All pages of the submitted tender document including all enclosures should be numbered and signed by the tenderer or his/her authorized signatory.
l) / In case of quoting abnormal/unbalanced rate for any/all items. of rates the chairman of TEC may ask the tenderer to submit valid reason/analysis of rates as per regulation 98(8), 98(13) & 98(23) of PPR-2008.
m) / In addition to the original & duplicate the tenderer must submit 2(two) additional BOQ duly filled in & attested by the contractor as per contract & procurement cell, Memo No.PPR[CPC-51/1475 dated 20/8/2008] in two separate sealed envelopes along with the tender documents.
n) / Any order issued by CPTU/BWDB in connection with Public Procurement before tender closing will be followed & binding upon the Tenderers.
