Professional Practice and Research are compiling a database of potential research projects ofinterest by COV constituents and framed within the context of Covenant Health. Congratulations to Dr. Bonnie Dobbs who has been awarded a CHRC grant for her study entitled: Validation of the Test Your Memory (TYM) self-administered cognitive screening test in a Canadian Geriatric Assessment Clinic population. The study aims tocompare the TYM to commonly used cognitive screening tests (MMSE and MoCA) in a geriatric assessment clinic setting and also investigates the diagnostic utility of the TYM to differentiate patients with and without dementia.

The 10th annual Covenant Health Research Day is taking place on Thursday, February 5th, 2015. Registration is open and spots are still available for participants. The day will consist of presentations, a poster session and discussion panel. The event is free to all Covenant Health staff and physicians, as well as those of our partner organizations.
