CALL FOR RESOLUTIONS
Members of the Association are asked to bring matters before the Convention for consideration by means of resolution submitted to the Executive at least 60 days prior to the date of the AGM.
Deadline to submit resolutions: Feb. 16, 2015
Members will be notified of such resolutions within 30 days of the AGM. The resolution will be voted on at the AGM.
MUNICIPAL DONATIONS REQUESTED
PMA is holding its 43rdAnnual Convention and Trade Show in Corner Brook from April 15-17, 2015. This year, the opening ceremonies will be dedicated to municipalities in the Western and Labrador Regions. This will give those towns the opportunity to highlight the activities and attractions available in their region. As always, we gratefully accept any donations our members would like to make to this event.
We are expecting approximately 200 delegates, exhibitors and special guests, and we want to make this one of our best events yet! The costs associated are high, but we will ensure that all attendees leave the convention enriched, entertained, and educated. If you wish to contribute, you town will be recognized and highlighted during the convention. If your council cannot make a direct monetary donation, perhaps there is a business, service or manufacturer in your area that may be interested in providing a donation or sponsorship.
We look forward to working together to make this a memorable event for our colleagues across this province. If you are in a position to make a donation, we would appreciate receiving it by March 20, 2015. Please make your cheque payable to PMA, and forward it to our office at 460 Torbay Road, St. John’s, NL, A1A 5J3.
