“Event Orders Liberty Battalion End of Year Ceremony”

Georgetown High School Klett Performing Arts Center – Tuesday, 3 May 2016

Note: Attendance is mandatory for all Battalion personnel.

Mission: To recognize the GHS, EVHS, & Richarte High School cadets of Liberty Battalion and to celebrate their achievements. Liberty Battalion will also continue the tradition of honoring our graduating seniors with a special “Senior Salute”. Join us in sending off our seniors, as they “request permission to leave the ship” and we show our appreciation for seniors and their family’s commitment to the Battalion.

Reporting Time: 1800 (6:00 PM) Starting Time: 1830 (6:30PM) SHARP. Seniors report at 1730!

Estimated Time of Completion: 2115 (9:15 P.M.)

Transportation: Students must provide their own transportation to and from the event.

Location of Event: GHS Performing Arts Center (PAC) 2211 N. Austin Avenue Georgetown, Texas 78626

Food: A cake and punch reception will follow immediately after ceremony next door, down the hall and to your right just inside the GHS Auxiliary Gym concession stand area.

Uniform and Equipment: E-7’s (C/CPO’s) and higher: Dress Blues; E-6’s (C/PO1’s) and below: Navy Service Uniform (Peanut Butters).

Project Officers: C/CDR Collins, C/LCDR Mersiovsky, & C/LT Thompson.

Assistant Project Officers: C/CDR Rider, C/LCDR Wilson, & C/LT Herrera.

Acceptance of Orders EOY Ceremony (Print Release)

I, Cadet ______acknowledge that I have been approved for participation in the Battalion’s EOY Ceremony and that I have been issued the event orders based upon my verbal commitment. I recognize that it is my responsibility to activate these orders by returning them signed no later than 2 days after receipt to confirm review and consent by a parent or guardian. I understand the instruction and direction provided above for the orderly and proper execution of this mission. In addition, I promise to conduct myself in a manner consistent with the Navy’s core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment and to obey all GISD rules and applicable laws. Finally, I understand that if for any reason it becomes necessary to cancel my commitment, I must do so in writing at least 24 hours in advance and that failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
