Cy-Fair FFA Scholarship Application

The Cy-Fair FFA will be awarding 1 - $500.00 scholarship and 1 - $1000.00 scholarship (Dr. Russell Appreciation Scholarship) for the current graduating class. To qualify for this scholarship, you must be a senior, a Cy-FairFFA chapter member for 3 years, and complete all necessary application forms and requirements. The scholarships will be awarded to Cy-Fair FFA students, chosen by the executive committee, based on information given on the application. Address any questions you might have in completing this application to the Cy-Fair FFA Advisors.

Application:

This application must be completed and turned into your Ag teacher by the last school day of March.

Please place the application and transcript in a sealed envelope marked Cy-Fair FFA Scholarship.

Reimbursement:

It is the recipient’s responsibility to furnish proof of enrollment to the Cy-Fair FFA to an accredited college, university, trade or technical school of his/her choice. The recipient has until February 15th of the year following high school graduation to claim his/her scholarship funds. Funding may take up to 30 days to process. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college, university, trade or technical school and it is the recipient’s responsibility to furnish the correct name, address, and contact person where the funds shall be sent.

  1. I will attend the Cy-Fair FFA Banquet and the awards ceremony in official FFA dress.
  1. I understand that if any portion of this application does not adhere, or if the applicant does not adhere, to the established rules of the application, the applicant may be disqualified from consideration and selection for a Cy-Fair FFA scholarship, as determined by executive committee.

If selected to receive a Cy-Fair FFA Scholarship, I understand that I will be expected to enroll in any College, University or Trade School no later than the spring semester of the year following your high school graduation year.
