Estacada High School

The scholarship award is specifically intended to be used as financial aid to meet the needs of graduating seniors of the Estacada High School who may NOT necessarily have the highest academic standing in their class, but who are committed to their goals and who havethe interest to develop skills in schooling or training beyond high school, with the intended purpose to become productive members of society.

Applications are due at the Estacada High School ASPIRE/Counseling Center by

Award amount: Four at $1,000 each(non-renewable)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • No GPA minimum.All seniors should apply!
  • Must be an Estacada High School senior.
  • Must attend a 2-year, 4-year or technical school that is a non-profit, accredited post high school institution.
  • Must attend post high school institution full-time.

Contents of the application package must include:

  • Completed application.
  • Essay of one page in length on the topic “How will this scholarship help me attain my goals?” Include what are your short term goals (the next six months) and long term goals (the next five years), as well as your occupational goals, and any family financial hindrances to attending college?
  • Activity List – include school activities, non-school activities (community service, work, etc.), awards, research projects, career-related exploration activities, leadership, etc.
  • Current high school transcript, including semester one of senior year.

Payment will be made directly to the post high school institution upon proof of acceptance and enrollment. To receive these funds, the award recipient must provide the Estacada School District Central Office with an official class schedule, printed out from yourpost high school institution.

Award recipient must use this scholarship award within twelve months of high school graduation.

Scholarship Committee:

The high school-established Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the recipients based on each student’s potential for success, commitment to post high school education, academics, involvement in school-related and extracurricular activities, essay, and transcript.
