Esso Cup Scholarship Guidelines

1) Applicants must have been listed on Gold Wing active player roster for the entire year of their graduating year.

2) Applicant must have successfully completed Grade 12 in Saskatchewan ( including ABE and GED )

3) Applicants are only eligible to receive one scholarship and only in their final year.

4) Applicants must be enrolled , the following year, at a Saskatchewan Post-Secondary Institution where they can obtain a Certificate, diploma, degree,or apprentice program. Consideration will be given to applicants who are attending out of province Post-Secondary Institutions providing they are also on that Institution’s hockey roster.

5) Should the applicant not continue the program, the scholarship will not be awarded.

6) Applicants must successfully complete the first semester in full time studies.

7) Applicants can receive the Esso Cup Scholarship in addition to any other scholarships or bursaries.

8) Applicants must provide a “Statement from the Dept of Education” or “Transcript of Secondary Level Achievements”

9) Three $1000 Scholarships can be awarded annually. The successful applicant shall be determined by a majority of the committee, giving consideration to past community involvement, volunteerism, academic standing and Post Secondary enrolment.

10) Special circumstances may exist and will be considered. The decision of a majority of the Scholarship Committee shall be final.

11) Applications must be submitted prior to June 1 of each year. Applications can be forwarded to:
