Directions
From the north:
Route 128 South to exit 20B (Route 9 WEST)
Take Rte. 9 West about one mile up a hill; just after passing a gas station on your right, you will come to an underpass. Take the second exit - immediately past the underpass - Cedar St. Needham/Wellesley. The exit will curve back around. Go right off the exit to cross over Rte. 9. You will go through one light at this point. You will then be on Cedar St. heading south.
Bear right onto Hunnewell Ave.
You will pass a new development and awooded cemetery on your left. Then you will pass the intersection at Oakland St.
At the next intersection, turn left onto Ardmore Rd. (and watch for oncoming traffic!); the sign is on the left and somewhat hard to see. There should be a sign for Wellesley Ave. on the right and a sign for Babson College directly in front of you. Stay to the left on Ardmore Rd. - do not take the streets that fork to the right.
The house isat 77 Ardmore Rd., a gray 2-story house on the right most of the way down the block (just past a 2-story yellow house).See paragraph in bold below.
From the east:
MassPike West to Rt 128/95 South – follow directions “From the north” above.
Alternately, you can take Rte. 9 West and continue one mile past Rte. 128/95 - follow directions “From the north” above beginning with “Take Route 9 West.”
From the west:
MassPike east to 128/95 south – follow directions “From the north” above.
Alternately, you can take Rte. 9 East. After you pass the Rte. 16 exit and Mass Bay Community College on your right, you will see Dodge and Toyota dealers on your right. Take the next exit, Cedar St. – Needham/Wellesley and go right at the light at the top of the hill onto Cedar St. Follow directions “From the north” above beginning with “You will then be on Cedar St.”
From the south:
Route 128 North to exit 19C, Highland Ave. Needham. After taking this exit you will cross over Rte. 128. After two lights (Gould & Webster), take the next right (a sharp right) onto Hunnewell Ave.; Carter Memorial Church will be on your left before you make this turn. (If you come to the Shell station and commuter rail station, you have gone too far.) Go straight on Hunnewell through one light (Central Ave.) and take the first right after Central onto Taylor St. Take Taylor St. to the end and take a sharp left at the end of the street. You will be on Ardmore. 77 Ardmore is several houses down on your left, a gray 2-story house.
You may park on the street, but please do not park in the small space between the driveways of 77 and 83 Ardmore, as that blocks the driveways. (If conditions are icy or if you have difficulty walking, you are also free to park at the far end of the driveway at 77 Ardmore near the backyard.) Walk around the back of 77 Ardmore (on the driveway side) and you will come to a basement door marked Office. Come in, go left down the hall and have a seat in the waiting room. There is no need to knock on the outside door or the waiting room door. (If I'm in session, I may not hear it anyway.) Just come in and make yourself at home.
