Minutes of Annual General Meeting held on the 30th November 2016

1) Minutes of last AGM
Minutes of last year’s AGM were approved.
2) Secretary's Report 2015 -2016
I would like to thank all our regular users for their continued support of the village hall, everyone who has attended meetings again this year, made donations and helped out at the two main fundraisers making the last year quite a success. Having said that; it would be good to set up one more fundraiser in the year, perhaps a 100 club?
Thanks to Margot for carrying out her committee duties for another year and special thanks to Colin Dadford for all his hard work helping to keep the hall maintenance going. Thanks to Richard Spray and colleagues for sorting our hot water issues and to Alison Brown for contacting Cemex and getting the car park surfaced.
On behalf of the village hall I would like to pay tribute to Vivienne Wilmut who sadly passed away last year. Vivienne was a trustee of the hall and devoted a great deal of time and energy to help the hall and the community in general and her willingness and enthusiasm is greatly missed by us all.

Trustees - JT to approach new trustee.
5) AOB
5.1 Maintenance issues
Priority repairs;
1 – Windows. Assess condition of existing windows. Consider secondary glazing.
2 - Broken bench.
3 – Outdoor play area is slippy and needs power washed.
4 - Heating electricity cost insulation windows time clock thermostat. PAT testing done.
Water rates a d sewerage apply every year for exemptions
Grant application , Jean Robertson retired.
5.2 OOSC extend hours to 6pm.
5.3 This year’s Xmas fayre will be on Saturday 6th December time TBC.
