Erasmus 2013/2014 – Work placementsAnnex II
Grant Conditions
The grant is awarded by the British Council as the UK National Agency acting on behalf of the European Commission to enable you to undertake a work placement in an eligible European organisation, including laboratories at partner universities.
The work placement is only valid at a host organisation in Europe and with the agreement of the Department Professional Training Tutor. The programme of work will be confirmed in a Training Agreement, signed by the student, Professional Training Tutor and the participating company. This will be signed in outline prior to the exchange, and confirmed with the host organisation once the work period commences. The University undertakes to recognise successful completion of the programme of work abroad as meeting the requirements of this period of the degree programme. The student beneficiary will provide evidence of attendance on the forms provided by the International Relations Office at the start and end of the work period and will complete the on-line Student Report provided by the British Council. If any problems arise whilst you are abroad you should contact your sending Faculty and the IRO immediately.
