Executive Board Report:

·  Chair: Last week approved 200 funds request for ABLE for t-shirts, 155 for Alyssa for one night for Ernie to stay and equipment, winter retreat 27th and 28th Spring Doodle is out and closes the 7th please do it ASAP. Still working on the President’s roundtable.

·  Executive Assistant: Please be sure to fill out the spring quarter tentative calendar, due by our March 10th ESC meeting. The dates do not have to be set just an idea of when you all will be having events.

·  Community Programmer: Working on leadership retreat

·  Advisor: Reminder please let Michelle know about your orgs. graduation dates by this week.

Special Guests: Katrina Whitney: CDSJ having an event Wednesday at noon called “Press Play Don’t Put Your Life on Pause” concept is to create videos and upload to CWU or various social media sites to raise awareness of how CWU supports marginalized groups on campus. Different topics covered such as micro-aggressions, and ways people found their safe spaces. Coming to ESC to ask about interest looking for individuals who would like to be in videos or even just to share feedback by emailing and sharing experiences that they have gone through. Gives people a chance to tell their story and give their own truth also to raise awareness and create a safe space. The Hope is to educate and raise awareness and for people to stand up, it’s like a call to action, needing input if you are interested please feel free to share with Michelle and Spencer or email Katrina please email

Org Reports:

·  BSU: Showtime at the McConnell was this pass Friday it went really great, one thing to work on for next year is to make sure we have equipment needed also going to limit how many times an individual can perform

·  VIP: Can’t decide between top two t-shirt designs, will have a funds request for Rock Against Rape soon.

·  FASA: Went to Filipino Olympics at Portland State University came in 5th out of 8 or 9 teams brought back the sportsmanship award. Getting ready for the end of the quarter and the Northwest FASA conference.

·  EQuAL: Had game night this past Friday and it went well.

·  M.E.Ch.A : Tamale sales, had some confusion and last minute errors but it is a growing experience. Money is going toward Nationals in Greeley Colorado the weekend before finals fundraising so we can attend. 6 people who are going to nationals will have a funds request for that coming soon. Everyone hopefully coming to the leadership retreat. Ernie G. will be at this week’s meeting taking him to dinner on Wednesday if any would like to join.

·  ABLE: Ordered shirts, rare disease day this Friday, have a meeting with head of rec center to bring adaptive sports to CWU

·  ROTARACT: Attended the Northwest Leadership Retreat this past weekend at Portland State University will have a wrap up report for that soon. We are looking for volunteers for the “Forget me Not bingo” this Friday from 1-3 at the adult activity center if you’re interested please sign up at the CLCE or their website. Also working on t-shirts and other fundraising projects.

New Business:

·  Updated Constitution 2014: See scanned documents below. Spencer would like to entertain a motion to approve the corrections made to the constitution, M.E.Ch.A so moves, VIP seconds, 7-0-0

·  EQuAL Funds Request: Requesting $700 for the registration of ten students for the Power of One Conference in Salt Lake City, UT on April 3rd -5th, Nigiste will email everyone a copy of the funds request.

·  FASA Funds Request: Requesting $1554.05 for the Annual NWFASA Conference at Gonzaga University on April 4th-6th, Nigiste will email everyone a copy of the funds request.

·  SURC Accounting Procedure:

·  Updated Itinerary: Spencer will email the updated itinerary for the ESC Leadership Retreat.

Issues/Concerns/Announcements

·  If you need to do TA’s or any other issues that will take extended periods of time please be sure to make an appointment with SURC accounting.

·  Sign up for Leadership Retreat

·  Spring Hype due to publicity by Feb. 28th email them even if you don’t have times just put the programs down and they can get times and dates later.

·  Look for Spring Quarter Meeting Doodle please complete the doodle poll ASAP

·  Student Government (BOD) Elections for anyone who is interested packets are now out stop by the campus life and pick up a packet. First meeting is tonight 6pm in the BOD office.
