The Fraternity

Epsilon Sigma Phi is the honorary fraternity for Extension professionals.

All Extension professionals with 5 or more years experience are eligible for membership.

Epsilon Sigma Phi represents all County, Regional Center, and State program and administrative personnel.

The Leadership Fund

The Epsilon Sigma Phi Leadership Endowment Fund is a part of the permanent endowed fund of The Ohio State University. The interest income from the Fund will be used to improve the quality of educational programs offered by Ohio State University Extension.

Income from the Fund will be allocated by the Alpha Eta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi in consultation with Extension Administration to:

  • Achievement recognition awards for Extension professionals who have conducted superior educational programs.
  • Grants to stimulate creativity in Extension program delivery.
  • Continuing Education grants for professional improvement

Your gift is a charitable contribution credited through The Ohio State University Development Fund. It is deductible subject to the limits of current federal and state tax laws.

Are there other means of giving beyond the outright gift?

  • Retirement gifts recognizing Extension staff for outstanding service
