  • Recommend demonstrating more clearly how graduate students are required to do substantially more work than undergraduate students
  • Include difference between two courses in the SCO (not syllabus)
  • Generally 500-level courses are more theoretical, more advanced research
  • Discuss in SCO, if possible, how graduate instruction differs from undergraduate instruction
  • Course justification needs to be more clear how presentations are introduced in previous, lower-level classes
  • Ex. “While they get some experience with presentations ….”
  • Put graduate/undergraduate distinction in all SCOs so instructors know what to do when assigned course
  • Work with Mark Wiley to develop proper SCO
