Working Well: Stage 2

EOI for Partnership Selection Form

Deadline for submission: 10am, 14 August 2015

Introduction

The Big Life Company are passionate about delivering social inclusion outcomes across Greater Manchester. We currently deliver the Working Well pilot project within Manchester, Salford and Trafford.

We are developing a partnership bid in anticipation of the Working Well Expansion for which details are expected to be released in July. Phase 1 expansion looks to continue to wrap provision around the employment and skills landscape. It will support up to 15,000 people with multiple and inter-related barriers to employment such as;

  • Health issues
  • Homelessness
  • Addiction
  • Low confidence/motivation
  • Childcare problems
  • Low skills
  • Debt
  • Ex-offenders

Where possible it will support people earlier than the current pilot does.

Our approach is to work with partners who can bring their local knowledge and experience. We aspire to work with organisations who are already embedded withincommunities and can demonstrate the impact of their work.

Referrals are expected to occur between January 2016 and March 2017. Approximate volumes, based on current Working Well referral rates are shown below.
