EIRIS provides comprehensive research on around 3,000 companies in Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region. EIRIS is already retained by 100 institutional clients including pension and retail fund managers, banks, private client brokers, charities and religious institutions globally.

We are looking for 5 Research Analysts to contribute to the work of the research team by analysing companies in allocated sectors and/or regions, undertaking key administrative tasks and generally ensuring the accuracy and quality of research delivered to clients. The focus of the principal project will be research on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues concerning companies in Emerging Markets.

You must be able to efficiently communicate and summarise complex material both verbally and in writing. You will need to be accurate and efficient, and be familiar with the use of databases, spreadsheets and word processing packages. You will be able to analyse and manipulate data in bulk using Access, Excel or equivalent and to define new queries and lookups. You will have a good level of numeracy and be a fast learner.

As well as fluent spoken and written English, you should have fluent written and spoken ability in one or more of the following languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin (reading both Traditional and Simplified Chinese) or Russian.

Knowledge of specific CSR issues or business ethics, and experience of research or similar work on CSR or related fields is essential. A readiness to undertake routine repetitive tasks is also an essential requirement for the post. Applicants should have a 2:2 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
