Dear Parents and Students,
I am excited to meet everyone and start off this semester on a good note. The most important things in my classroom are to be involved and to stay on top of school work. I have several ways for parents and students to stay connected with our class. First is my teacher website ( Check there for PowerPoint presentations, class notes, and important dates. I also have a Twitter account (@LHS_mrsmorris). Please feel free to follow me for tweets about tests, quizzes and upcoming assignments. I also have the ability to record my voice and actions on Twitter for students who have questions after class (all students would benefit from posting the content in question). Lastly, you can sign up for classroom text messages. This is a good option for those of you who do not have a Twitter account. I will place the same information on Twitter that goes out on text messages. Here’s how you sign up: text @morrisentrto (442)333-4277. This text message system will only send messages, it will not allow the students or parents to reply to the message (it’s secure... I will not know your phone numbers and you will not know mine).
I hope this keeps everyone in the education loop for personal finance. Please glance at the supply list. I appreciate any and all items that you are able to donate to our classroom. Please feel free to email me with any concerns.
Go Patriots!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Alison Morris
